WTAP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein WT1 associated protein, which is encoded by the WTAP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an associated component of the WMM complex, a complex that mediates N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation of RNAs, a modification that plays a role in the efficiency of mRNA splicing and RNA processing. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 396 residues, a mass of 44.2 kDa, and is a member of the Fl(2)d protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include pre-mRNA-splicing regulator WTAP, PNAS-132, Wilms tumor 1 associated protein, Wilms' tumour 1-associating protein, female-lethal(2)D homolog, and Mum2.
The detection range for different WTAP ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
