PGRMC1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein progesterone receptor membrane component 1, which is encoded by the PGRMC1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known component of the progesterone-binding protein complex. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 195 residues, a mass of 21.7 kDa, and is a member of the Cytochrome b5 protein family. It is known to be localized in the mitochondria, ER, and is secreted and is notably expressed in urine. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally O-glycosylated and cleaved. Other alias names for this target include HPR6.6, IZA, MPR, membrane-associated progesterone receptor component 1, progesterone binding protein, and Dap1.
There are PGRMC1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 20 ng/L and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
