These ERV1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ERV1 in biological samples. ERV1 is an alias of the human GFER gene, which encodes the protein, growth factor, augmenter of liver regeneration. Notably, ERV1 is known to play a role in the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides and TNF-mediated cellular signaling pathways, among other functions. The GFER protein is 205 amino acid residues in length and 23.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria, cytoplasm, and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include ALR and HERV1. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
