VPS39 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein VPS39 subunit of HOPS complex, which is encoded by the VPS39 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a reported regulator of TGF-beta/activin signaling, inhibiting SMAD3- and activating SMAD2-dependent transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 886 residues, a mass of 101.8 kDa, and is a member of the VAM6/VPS39 protein family. It is known to be localized in the membrane, lysosomes and cytoplasm and is found to be widely expressed, with highest levels in heart, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, brain, placenta and spleen. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include VAM6, hVam6p, vam6/Vps39-like protein, TRAP1-like protein, VPS39, HOPS complex subunit, and TLP.
There are VPS39 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
