INPP5E ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein inositol polyphosphate-5-phosphatase E, which is encoded by the INPP5E gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 644 residues, a mass of 70.2 kDa, and is a member of the Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate 5-phosphatase type IV protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, golgi, and cytoplasm and is notably expressed in the brain, heart, pancreas, testis and spleen. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The INPP5E gene has been associated with the disease, Joubert syndrome. Other alias names for this target include 72 kDa inositol polyphosphate 5-phosphatase, phosphatidylinositol-3,4,5-trisphosphate 5-phosphatase, phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 5-phosphatase, and phosphatidylinositol polyphosphate 5-phosphatase type IV.
There are INPP5E ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
