Anti-SHFM3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SHFM3 is a known alias name of the protein F-box and WD repeat domain containing 4, encoded by the FBXW4 gene in humans. This 412-amino acid residue protein is suspected to be recognizes and binds to some phosphorylated proteins and promotes their ubiquitination and degradation. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, kidney, lung and liver.
