Anti-LXRA antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LXRA is a known alias name of the protein nuclear receptor subfamily 1 group H member 3, encoded by the NR1H3 gene in humans. This 447-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a nuclear receptor that exhibits a ligand-dependent transcriptional activation activity. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to have visceral organs specific expression. Western Blot is the most common application for the LXRA antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
