Anti-CBY2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chibby family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 448 amino acid residues and a mass of 51.6 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to have testis-specific expression. It is a member of the Chibby protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include novel leucine zipper testicular protein, spermatid associated, spermatid flower-like structure protein, spermatid-associated protein, and protein chibby homolog 2. CBY2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the CBY2 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
