Anti-DAT1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DAT1 is a known alias name of the protein solute carrier family 6 member 3, encoded by the SLC6A3 gene in humans. This 620-amino acid residue protein is known to mediate sodium- and chloride-dependent transport of dopamine. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in substantia nigra. Indicated applications for DAT1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
