Anti-RNF180 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ring finger protein 180. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 592 amino acid residues and a mass of 68.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and ER. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. RNF180 is known to be involved with protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF180 and RING-type E3 ubiquitin transferase RNF180. RNF180 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RNF180 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
