Anti-SCAX1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SCAX1 is a known alias name of the protein ATPase plasma membrane Ca2+ transporting 3, encoded by the ATP2B3 gene in humans. This 1220-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Cation transport ATPase (P-type) (TC 3.A.3) protein family. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the cerebellum. Other synonyms for SCAX1 include CFAP39, CLA2, and OPCA.
