Anti-MAATS1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target MAATS1 is a known alias name of the protein cilia and flagella associated protein 91, encoded by the CFAP91 gene in humans. This 767-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in sperm flagellum axonemal organization and function. It is localized to the mitochondria and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the bronchus and fallopian tube. Western Blot is the most common application for the MAATS1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
