Anti-SRP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SRP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KPNA3 gene, which encodes karyopherin subunit alpha 3. This protein is known to function in the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological roles. The human version of SRP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 521 residues and a protein mass of 57.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. SRP1 is a member of the Importin alpha protein family.
