Anti-Lectin, mannose binding 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene LMAN1 in humans. The gene may also be known as ERGIC53, gp58, ERGIC-53, and protein ERGIC-53. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 57.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
