Anti-POTEA antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein POTE ankyrin domain family member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 498 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.2 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is a member of the POTE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include cancer/testis antigen family 104, member 3, prostate, ovary, testis-expressed protein on chromosome 8, protein expressed in prostate, ovary, testis, and placenta 8, and ANKRD26-like family A, member 1. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for POTEA antibodies.
