Anti-FOXD4 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein forkhead box D4. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 439 amino acid residues and a mass of 47.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. FOXD4 is known to be involved with the morphogenesis of anatomical structure and cell differentiation. Synonyms for this target antigen include FOXD4A, FREAC-5, FREAC5, forkhead box protein D4, forkhead, Drosophila, homolog-like 9, and FKHL9. FOXD4 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Some FOXD4 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
