Anti-DENND1C antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein DENN domain containing 1C. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 801 amino acid residues and a mass of 87.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. DENND1C is known to be involved with endocytosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include DENN/MADD domain containing 1C, connecdenn 3, family with sequence similarity 31, member C, and DENN domain-containing protein 1C. DENND1C gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the DENND1C antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
