Anti-THMD5 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the THMD5 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TPK1 gene, which encodes thiamin pyrophosphokinase 1. This protein is known to function in protein phosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of THMD5 has a canonical amino acid length of 243 residues and a protein mass of 27.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HTPK1 and PP20.
