Anti-TGFR-2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TGFR-2 is a known alias name of the protein transforming growth factor beta receptor 2, encoded by the TGFBR2 gene in humans. This 567-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in pathways of aging and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and is secreted of the cell and features phosphorylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. Other synonyms for TGFR-2 include AAT3, FAA3, and LDS1B. Western Blot is the most common application for the TGFR-2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
