Anti-ZIR8 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZIR8 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DOCK8 gene, which encodes dedicator of cytokinesis 8. This protein is known to function in GPCR signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of ZIR8 has a canonical amino acid length of 2099 residues and a protein mass of 238.5 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the lung and lymph node. ZIR8 is a member of the DOCK protein family.
