This target is a reported synonym of the TRIAP1 gene, which encodes TP53 regulated inhibitor of apoptosis 1. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and DNA damage pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of WF-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 76 residues and a protein mass of 8.8 kilodaltons.
