Anti-TMBIM5 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target TMBIM5 is a known alias name of the protein growth hormone inducible transmembrane protein, encoded by the GHITM gene in humans. This 345-amino acid residue protein is known to play an important role in maintenance of mitochondrial morphology and in mediating either calcium or potassium/proton antiport. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for TMBIM5 include DERP2, DERP2, and HSPC282. Indicated applications for TMBIM5 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
