Anti-RESDX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RESDX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SRPX2 gene, which encodes sushi repeat containing protein X-linked 2. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of RESDX has a canonical amino acid length of 465 residues and a protein mass of 53 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm and is secreted of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include BPP, CBPS, and PMGX.
