Anti-SCARA2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SCARA2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MARCO gene, which encodes macrophage receptor with collagenous structure. This protein is known to function in the apoptotic pathway and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of SCARA2 has a canonical amino acid length of 520 residues and a protein mass of 52.7 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the lung and testis. Indicated applications for SCARA2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
