Anti-SFA1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SFA1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CD151 gene, which encodes CD151 molecule (Raph blood group). This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and the regulation of cell migration, among other biological roles. The human version of SFA1 has a canonical amino acid length of 253 residues and a protein mass of 28.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include EBS7, GP27, and MER2. Western Blot is the most common application for the SFA1 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
