Anti-SERZ-B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SERZ-B is a known alias name of the protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 7, encoded by the ZDHHC7 gene in humans. This 308-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a golgi-localized palmitoyltransferase that catalyzes the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates and therefore functions in several unrelated biological processes. It is localized to the Golgi of the cell and features palmitoylated post-translational modifications.
