Anti-RPC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RPC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RTCA gene, which encodes RNA 3'-terminal phosphate cyclase. This protein is known to catalyze the conversion of 3'-phosphate to a 2',3'-cyclic phosphodiester at the end of RNA. The human version of RPC has a canonical amino acid length of 366 residues and a protein mass of 39.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include RTC1 and RTCD1. Indicated applications for RPC antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
