Anti-RIS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the RIS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RASL12 gene, which encodes RAS like family 12. The human version of RIS has a canonical amino acid length of 266 residues and a protein mass of 29.7 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. RIS is a member of the Ras protein family.
