Anti-NCKX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NCKX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC24A1 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 24 member 1. This protein is known to function in the transport of ions and the regulation of intracellular calcium, among other biological roles. The human version of NCKX has a canonical amino acid length of 1099 residues and a protein mass of 121.4 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the retina, nasopharynx, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Other names for this target antigen include CSNB1D and HsT17412. Indicated applications for NCKX antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence.
