Anti-RCD-8 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The RCD-8 antigen is another term for the human protein enhancer of mRNA decapping 4, encoded by the EDC4 gene. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 1401 residues and a mass of 151.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The RCD-8 protein is a member of the WD repeat EDC4 protein family.
