Anti-PRK antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target PRK is a known alias name of the protein polo like kinase 3, encoded by the PLK3 gene in humans. This 646-amino acid residue protein is known to be a protein kinase involved in cell cycle regulation, response to stress and Golgi disassembly. It is localized to the nucleus, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for PRK include CNK and FNK. A number of PRK antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
