Anti-mGPDH antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target mGPDH is a known alias name of the protein glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase 2, encoded by the GPD2 gene in humans. This 727-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in metabolic processes, among other biological processes. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for mGPDH include GDH2, GPDM, and mGDH. Indicated applications for mGPDH antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
