Anti-P120CAS antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The P120CAS antigen is another term for the human protein catenin delta 1, encoded by the CTNND1 gene. The protein is a reported key regulator of cell-cell adhesion that associates with and regulates the cell adhesion properties of both C-, E- and N-cadherins, being critical for their surface stability. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 968 residues and a mass of 108.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in vascular endothelium. The P120CAS protein is a member of the Beta-catenin protein family. Other alias names for P120CAS include BCDS2, CAS, and CTNND. Some P120CAS antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
