Anti-MYL11 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein myosin light chain 11. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 169 amino acid residues and a mass of 19 kDa. It is reported to be expressed in fetal and adult skeletal muscle. MYL11 is a reported myosin regulatory subunit that plays an essential role to maintain muscle integrity during early development (By similarity). The MYL11 marker can be used to identify Myo-Medullary Thymic Epithelial Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include HUMMLC2B, MLC2B, MRLC2, MYLPF, myosin regulatory light chain 11, and DA1C. Indicated applications for MYL11 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
