Anti-QK3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the QK3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the QKI gene, which encodes QKI, KH domain containing RNA binding. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and the regulation of gene expression, among other biological roles. The human version of QK3 has a canonical amino acid length of 341 residues and a protein mass of 37.7 kilodaltons, although 6 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum. Other names for this target antigen include Hqk, QK, and QK1. These QK3 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
