Anti-PDLG antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PDLG antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DLG5 gene, which encodes discs large MAGUK scaffold protein 5. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and intracellular signal transduction, among other biological roles. The human version of PDLG has a canonical amino acid length of 1919 residues and a protein mass of 213.9 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells. Other names for this target antigen include LP-DLG and P-DLG5. Indicated applications for PDLG antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
