Anti-PDECGF antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PDECGF antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TYMP gene, which encodes thymidine phosphorylase. This protein is known to function in angiogenesis and cell differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of PDECGF has a canonical amino acid length of 482 residues and a protein mass of 50 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be notably expressed in the skin, lymph node, lung, bone marrow, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include ECGF, ECGF1, and MEDPS1. Western Blot is the most common application for the PDECGF antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
