Anti-p29ING4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p29ING4 is a known alias name of the protein inhibitor of growth family member 4, encoded by the ING4 gene in humans. This 249-amino acid residue protein is known to be a component of HBO1 complexes, which specifically mediate acetylation of histone H3 at 'Lys-14' (H3K14ac), and have reduced activity toward histone H4. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cervix, urinary bladder, and adrenal gland. Other synonyms for p29ING4 include my036 and my036.
