Anti-p110delta antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target p110delta is a known alias name of the protein phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate 3-kinase catalytic subunit delta, encoded by the PIK3CD gene in humans. This 1044-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and B cell differentiation, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the tonsil, testis, lymph node, and appendix. Other synonyms for p110delta include APDS, IMD14, and IMD14A. ELISA is the most common application for the p110delta antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
