Anti-C-type lectin domain containing 10A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CLEC10A in humans. The gene may also be known as CD301, CLECSF14, C-type lectin domain family 10 member A, and CLECSF13. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 35.4 kilodaltons in mass. The CLEC10A marker can be used to identify Type 2 Dendritic (DC2) Cells, Type 3 Dendritic (DC3) Cells, CDC2 CD1C+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells, CD1C+ Myeloid Dendritic Cells, and CDC2 Myeloid Dendritic Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
