Anti-OL-PCDH antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the OL-PCDH antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the PCDH10 gene, which encodes protocadherin 10. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and nervous system development, among other biological roles. The human version of OL-PCDH has a canonical amino acid length of 1040 residues and a protein mass of 112.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate and cerebellum.
