Anti-MIO antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the MIO antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the MIOS gene, which encodes meiosis regulator for oocyte development. The human version of MIO has a canonical amino acid length of 875 residues and a protein mass of 98.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. MIO is a member of the WD repeat mio protein family. Indicated applications for MIO antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
