Anti-FHA-HIT antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target FHA-HIT is a known alias name of the protein aprataxin, encoded by the APTX gene in humans. This 356-amino acid residue protein is known to be a DNA-binding protein involved in single-strand DNA break repair, double-strand DNA break repair and base excision repair. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be widely expressed, detected in the liver, kidney and lymph node. Other synonyms for FHA-HIT include AOA, AOA, and AOA1. Indicated applications for FHA-HIT antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
