Anti-JADE3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein jade family PHD finger 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 823 amino acid residues and a mass of 93.8 kDa. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the JADE protein family, Jade3 is reported to be a scaffold subunit of some HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H4 acetyltransferase activity. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein Jade-3, PHD finger protein 16, jade family PHD finger protein 3, and PHF16. JADE3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some Jade3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
