Anti-ALK6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ALK6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BMPR1B gene, which encodes bone morphogenetic protein receptor type 1B. This protein is known to function in central nervous system neuron differentiation and eye development, among other biological roles. The human version of ALK6 has a canonical amino acid length of 502 residues and a protein mass of 56.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells. ALK6 is a member of the TKL Ser/Thr protein kinase protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the ALK6 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
