Anti-AHS antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AHS antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AHSG gene, which encodes alpha 2-HS glycoprotein. This protein is known to function in skeletal system development, among other biological roles. The human version of AHS has a canonical amino acid length of 367 residues and a protein mass of 39.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be a secreted protein. Other names for this target antigen include A2HS and APMR1. Western Blot is the most common application for the AHS antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
