Anti-Hey3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Hey3 is a known alias name of the protein hes related family bHLH transcription factor with YRPW motif like, encoded by the HEYL gene in humans. This 328-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a downstream effector of Notch signaling which may be required for cardiovascular development (By similarity). It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for Hey3 include HESR3 and HRT3.
