Anti-KLC antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KLC antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KLC1 gene, which encodes kinesin light chain 1. The human version of KLC has a canonical amino acid length of 573 residues and a protein mass of 65.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell projections and cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as KNS2. Western Blot is the most common application for the KLC antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
