Anti-hPD-1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target hPD-1 is a known alias name of the protein programmed cell death 1, encoded by the PDCD1 gene in humans. This 288-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in adaptive immune responses and the apoptotic pathway, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features N-glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in the lymph node and tonsil. Other synonyms for hPD-1 include CD279, PD-1, and PD1. Western Blot is the most common application for the hPD-1 antibodies listed below.
