Anti-LASP2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target LASP2 is a known alias name of the protein nebulette, encoded by the NEBL gene in humans. This 1014-amino acid residue protein is known to bind to actin and plays an important role in the assembly of the Z-disk. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be highly expressed in cardiac muscle, but not in skeletal or smooth muscle. Other synonyms for LASP2 include C10orf113 and LNEBL.
